RippleX Explores Native Staking on XRP Ledger

RippleX engineering head J. Ayo Akinyele released an analysis exploring native staking on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). XRPL currently uses Proof of Association, where fees are burned and validator trust is earned through performance. Introducing staking would require new reward mechanisms and careful design to preserve decentralization and stability.
