T. Rowe Price, a legacy investment firm managing $1.77T, has filed with the SEC to launch an actively managed crypto ETF.
Will hold 5–15 digital assets, including BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, DOGE, and more.
Goal: Outperform the FTSE Crypto US Listed Index using an active strategy—weights may differ from the index, and non-index crypto may be included.
“This isn’t ‘tradfi co-opting crypto’… they’re building the full infrastructure to handle crypto trading & ETFs,” says Nate Geraci, NovaDius Wealth Management.
