Nicolas Julia, CEO of fantasy sports crypto platform Sorare, says the company’s decision to migrate from Ethereum to Solana is an “upgrade” rather than a replacement — and that he remains bullish on Ethereum’s future.

Last Thursday, Sorare announced plans to move over 10 sports games and their NFT trading cards to Solana, citing its scalability, security, and strong consumer-focused adoption. The full migration is expected to be completed by the end of this month.

“It’s not a replacement, it’s an upgrade,” Julia told Cointelegraph. “Solana leads the fantasy sports crypto vertical in revenue, daily active addresses, active developers, and total value locked. Its growing adoption shows that this bet was the right one.”
