A phishing website impersonating Uniswap has reportedly stolen crypto from multiple users, with attackers currently holding around $400,000 across two flagged wallets.

On-chain investigator b-block warned traders to avoid clicking sponsored search ads and always verify official URLs before connecting wallets or signing transactions.

The scam works by cloning Uniswap’s interface almost perfectly, tricking users into approving malicious transactions that silently drain funds from their wallets.

This type of attack has become one of the biggest security threats in DeFi because scammers:
    • Buy Google ads to appear above official websites
    • Use lookalike domains that resemble real protocols
    • Mimic authentic wallet connection prompts
    • Exploit rushed user behavior

The FBI reported over $11.3 billion in crypto-related fraud losses in 2025 alone, with phishing remaining one of the fastest-growing attack methods in the industry.

Scammers buying ads above the real site is actually crazy.

Crypto security starts before you even connect.

Double-check the domain, then check it again.

DeFi gives you control, but security is 100% your responsibility.

A familiar logo doesn’t mean it’s the real website.
