Fake Uniswap Website Drains Hundreds Of Thousands From Crypto Wallets

A phishing website impersonating Uniswap has reportedly stolen crypto from multiple users, with attackers currently holding around $400,000 across two flagged wallets.On-chain investigator b-block warned traders to avoid clicking sponsored search ads and always verify official URLs before connecting wallets or signing transactions.
The scam works by cloning Uniswap’s interface almost perfectly, tricking users into approving malicious transactions that silently drain funds from their wallets.
This type of attack has become one of the biggest security threats in DeFi because scammers:
