Binance.US Appoints Stephen Gregory as New CEO

Binance.US, the U.S. arm of crypto exchange Binance, has named compliance expert Stephen Gregory as its new CEO, taking over from Norman Reed, who will transition into an advisory role. Gregory officially assumed the role on March 9 and brings a strong regulatory background, having previously served as CEO of Currency.com and as compliance officer at Gemini and CEX.IO.

“I am honored to lead the Binance.US team as we write the next chapter for the best platform for U.S. crypto investors,” Gregory said. He praised the Binance.US brand and its founder, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), noting the company’s vision of making the U.S. the global crypto capital.
