Mastercard has unveiled a global crypto partner program, bringing together over 85 companies from the digital asset and payments sectors to collaborate on blockchain-based payment and settlement systems. The initiative aims to connect crypto exchanges, blockchain networks, and financial institutions, enabling digital assets to play a larger role in cross-border transfers, payouts, and other financial services. Notable participants include Binance, Circle, Gemini, Ripple, PayPal, Polygon, Solana, and Crypto.com.Through this program, Mastercard plans to integrate blockchain technology with existing payment infrastructure, focusing on use cases such as cross-border money movement, commercial payments, and faster settlements. In a recent post on X, the company highlighted that “digital assets are entering a new phase,” as technologies that once operated alongside traditional finance are now being applied to practical everyday financial solutions.
