Bitcoin Finds Its Footing, But Macro Still Calls the Shots
-

Bitcoin long-term holder flow. Source: CryptoQuantBitcoin has stabilized above $70,000 after one of its sharpest single-day drawdowns in months, yet near-term direction remains hostage to macro forces.
Onchain signals show improvement: long-term holder SOPR has climbed back above 1, indicating a return to realized profits and conditions consistent with base-building rather than breakdown.
But the macro backdrop is still heavy. Markets see over 82% odds of no Fed rate cut in March, U.S. 10-year yields remain elevated near 4.22%, and liquidity conditions are tight — all headwinds for risk assets.
Until inflation data and policy expectations ease, Bitcoin may stay volatile.
The structure looks resilient — the environment does not.
