Crypto industry amasses $193M war chest ahead of US midterms
-

The cryptocurrency industry is heading into the US midterm election cycle with $193 million already banked for political spending, just ten months before voters head to the polls. Crypto-focused political action committee Fairshake said it ended 2025 with nearly as much cash as it spent during the entire 2024 election cycle.
Major contributors include Ripple, Coinbase and venture capital firm a16z. The PAC says it will continue backing pro-crypto candidates while opposing lawmakers viewed as hostile to the industry, significantly raising the stakes for digital asset policy in Washington.
