Analysts Split on Bitcoin’s 2026 Outlook as Price Volatility Persists
-

Industry leaders remain divided on Bitcoin’s trajectory in 2026. Veteran trader Peter Brandt has warned that Bitcoin could drop to $60,000 by late 2026, while Fidelity’s Jurrien Timmer suggested the year may serve as a pause, with prices potentially falling toward $65,000.
Others remain optimistic. Strategy CEO Phong Le says Bitcoin’s fundamentals stayed strong throughout 2025 despite price weakness, and Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan believes 2026 could still be an “up year” for the asset.
As uncertainty lingers, Bitcoin’s next move remains one of crypto’s biggest open questions.
