Ether (ETH) has struggled to stay above $3,400 for the past 40 days, raising bearish concerns. This Friday, $6 billion in ETH options will expire, with call options outnumbering puts by 2.2x.

Most bullish bets were concentrated between $3,500 and $5,000, leaving calls at $3,000 or lower in the minority. Traders say that unless ETH breaks above $3,100, bears may maintain control despite optimistic year-end targets.
