Prysm revealed that a bug from a testnet a month before Ethereum’s Fusaka upgrade caused node validation issues on Dec. 4. Nodes suffered resource exhaustion while processing attestations from out-of-sync peers, forcing them to recompute past states. Validators lost ~382 ETH in attestation rewards.
