The City of Roswell, New Mexico, best known for its connection to the famous 1947 UFO incident, has been revealed as an unlikely Bitcoin holder. Blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence identified a city-linked wallet containing approximately 0.173 BTC, valued at around $13,300 at the time of discovery.

According to Arkham, the Bitcoin was donated in 2025 and has remained untouched ever since. City officials have not publicly disclosed plans for the funds or commented on the wallet’s purpose.
