TON Expands Crypto Ecosystem as Telegram Revenue Surges

The earning feature builds on broader momentum around The Open Network. Earlier this month, the TON Foundation launched TON Pay, a toolkit allowing merchants and Telegram Mini Apps to accept crypto payments directly within Telegram.

Wallet in Telegram claims more than 150 million registered users, positioning it as one of the largest embedded crypto wallets globally.

Meanwhile, Telegram reported $870 million in operating revenue in the first half of 2025 — a 65% year-over-year increase — with roughly $300 million tied to exclusivity agreements involving Toncoin.
