Crypto Funds Bleed $288M as Five-Week Outflow Streak Hits Record

Weekly crypto flows (in millions of US dollars). Source: CoinSharesCrypto investment products saw $288 million in outflows last week, marking five consecutive weeks of withdrawals — the longest losing streak since US spot Bitcoin ETFs launched in 2024.
According to a new report from CoinShares, total cumulative outflows have now reached $4 billion. While significant, that figure remains below the $6 billion withdrawn during the same stretch last year, noted James Butterfill, the firm’s head of research.
Trading activity also cooled sharply. Crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs) recorded just $17 billion in weekly volume — the lowest level since July 2025 — suggesting growing investor apathy amid broader market uncertainty.
The prolonged downturn highlights continued pressure across digital asset markets, even as prices attempt to stabilize.
