MetaMask Expands Into Tokenized Stocks & Commodities

MetaMask users outside the U.S. can now access 200 tokenized US stocks, ETFs, and commodities like gold and silver via Ondo Global Markets!

How it works: Users swap USDC in MetaMask Swaps for Ondo GM tokens, which track the value of the underlying assets 1:1.
Mobile first, desktop/browser support expected by late February.
Rollout excludes the U.S., EEA, UK, Canada, and 30 other jurisdictions due to regulatory restrictions.

MetaMask co-founder Joe Lubin says this brings “a single, self-custodial wallet where people can move between crypto and traditional assets without intermediaries.”

The move highlights the growing trend of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) and prediction market integration in crypto wallets.
