Ethereum ETFs and Institutions Are Tightening ETH Supply
-

Ethereum is gaining renewed momentum as institutional demand accelerates through spot ETFs. Over just four days, US-based spot Ethereum ETFs attracted nearly $475 million in inflows, according to Farside Investors, outpacing new ETH supply and marking the strongest inflow streak of 2026 so far. Daily institutional net buying has also climbed to nearly 7,000 ETH, reinforcing the demand-side pressure.
While some Ethereum treasury companies have slowed accumulation, select players like Bitmine—led by Tom Lee—continue adding ETH. Analysts note that if ETF inflows stabilize at current levels, institutional absorption alone could materially tighten circulating supply and support higher prices in the weeks ahead.
