Strategy Keeps Accumulating Bitcoin, Now Holds Over 672K BTC

Michael Saylor’s Strategy, formerly MicroStrategy, continues its aggressive Bitcoin accumulation. Last week, the company purchased 1,229 BTC for roughly $108.8 million at an average price of $88,568 per coin, bringing its total holdings to 672,497 BTC.
At an average cost of $74,997 per Bitcoin, these assets are now valued at approximately $50.44 billion, producing a 23.2% yield year-to-date in 2025 and an unrealized profit of $8.31 billion over five years.
Despite these numbers, investor and gold advocate Peter Schiff criticized the move, suggesting that the returns equate to just over 3% annually and questioning Bitcoin as an efficient allocation of capital.
