Wealthy Asian Investors Are Quietly Going Big on Crypto
-

A new Sygnum APAC report shows a major shift among high-net-worth investors in Asia: 6 in 10 plan to boost their crypto exposure over the next two to five years. The survey, which polled 270 HNWIs across Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea and Thailand, found that 87% already hold crypto, with an average allocation of 17% — far above typical global averages.
Even more striking, 90% view digital assets as essential for long-term wealth preservation and legacy planning, not speculation. Sygnum’s APAC CEO Gerald Goh says crypto is now “firmly embedded” in the region’s private wealth ecosystem, driven by diversification needs and institutional-grade products rather than short-term hype. -
The silent accumulation by high-net-worth investors usually hints at a bigger move ahead. Smart money rarely waits.

Asian investors stepping in quietly is a strong bullish signal. They always position early before trends go mainstream.
