BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes predicts most layer-1 blockchains will fade, with only Ethereum and Solana surviving long term. Speaking on Altcoin Daily, Hayes emphasized Ethereum’s central role in institutional adoption and Web3 integration, while noting Solana’s rebound but cautioning it needs “new tricks” to maintain growth. Hayes said, “Pretty much every other L1 besides Ethereum or Solana is a zero.”
