🚨 SCAM ALERT: “Pastor Coin” Rug Pulls $3.4M from Faithful Investors — What You Need to Know (And How to Protect Your Wallet 💸)
-
It just happened again — another crypto scam, this time dressed in scripture.
In Denver, online pastor Eli Regalado and his wife Kaitlyn were indicted on 40 criminal charges for allegedly running a $3.4 million crypto fraud called INDXcoin.
They promised followers "wealth through God's word"... but apparently spent $1.3M on themselves, including a fancy home reno — claiming “the Lord told them to do it.” 🤯
👉 “We allege Mr. Regalado took advantage of his Christian community… and sold them essentially worthless cryptocurrencies,” said Colorado's Securities Commissioner.
Over 300 people fell victim. The coin? 🪙 Zero value. Zilch.
Don’t Let This Be You
These scams are becoming more common — especially ones targeting trust, identity, and communities.
Want to avoid ending up in the next INDXcoin headline?
Here’s how to stay safe (and maybe even get paid doing it):
1. Use vetted crypto platforms
Avoid sketchy “faith-based” coins or self-launched tokens. Use platforms with real security, compliance, and user protections.
Example: Get $25 in BTC when you trade $100+ on Gemini — click here to sign up!
🧠 2. Never invest based on hype or “divine promises”God may love you, but that token probably doesn’t. If a “pastor” is pushing altcoins, walk away — or at least do serious research first.
️ 3. Protect your assets with real tools
Use crypto tracking + alert apps like CoinStats, Nansen, or Arkham to monitor your wallets and spot red flags.

BONUS: Know the Law
If you're investing in the U.S., profits from crypto are taxable, and scams aren’t insured. Use secure wallets and avoid unknown exchanges.
