Klarna Launches KlarnaUSD Stablecoin
-

Klarna has officially entered the crypto space with KlarnaUSD, a USD-pegged stablecoin built on Tempo, the new Stripe–Paradigm layer-1 blockchain.
The token is live on Tempo’s testnet, with a mainnet launch set for 2026. Built by Stripe-owned Bridge, KlarnaUSD is aimed at internal use cases like cheaper cross-border payments. Klarna says there are no plans to add stablecoin support to its BNPL services—at least for now. -
Another big player launching a stablecoin—competition is growing fast.

KlarnaUSD could gain traction quickly if integrated well with their services.
