The Game Awards producer Geoff Keighley confirmed Vedinad’s withdrawal, noting that the developer is an established solo creator presenting himself under a new name. Keighley hinted that Vedinad may share more about his story in the future. The awards ceremony is scheduled for Dec. 11, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
