⚔️ Calamity Launches Incentivized Technical Test – Play, Earn & Compete!

On Tuesday, August 19, 12 PM UTC, the developers of MMORPG Calamity will open their Incentivized Technical Test — giving web3 gamers a new shot at play-to-earn glory (and plenty of prizes).

What’s New This Time?

The test introduces nearly all the features lined up for Calamity’s big Play-to-Airdrop (P2A) campaign:

Cosmetics, Rings, Pass/Gold purchases live on the official dApp

Guilds + advanced fishing baits (coming later)

Major backend/server reworks (expect bugs, rollbacks, long maintenances)

️ Important: Avoid OTC trades (like buying Gold outside the dApp) — rollbacks = lost progress, no refunds.

Rewards You Can Earn

USDC Tribute Pool → Starts at $1000 USDC, grows with player purchases. To qualify, hold at least 1000 Gold by event end (1k Gold = $1 during test).

Factory NFTs → Top 25 players on the Valor Leaderboard win. Earn Valor Points in dungeons (harder = more points).

500k WYRM Raffle → 100 winners, each gets 5,000 WYRM. Need 850+ Valor Points for 1 ticket (more points = more tickets). Rewards vest: 30% at TGE, 70% linearly over 3 months.

Extra Opportunities

Referrals → No rewards now, but invites count for the main P2A campaign.

Content Creators → Top 20 social posts (quality + engagement) win 3 Factory NFTs each; top 5 guides get 5 NFTs each. Submit by Aug 29, winners on Sept 5.
