Even weeks after Windows 10 support ended on Oct. 14, 2025, nearly a third of Steam users remain on the older OS.

Windows 10: 31.14% (-1.04%)

Windows 11: 63.57% (+0.53%)

Linux: 3.05% (+0.37%)

macOS: 2.11% (+0.20%)

Interestingly, Linux and macOS together gained more users than Windows 11, marking the first time Linux reached 3% of Steam users.
