OpenAI’s Sora AI Video Generator Launches on Android

Sora, OpenAI’s AI-powered video generator, is now officially available for Android users in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Originally launched on iOS in September, Sora hit over 1 million downloads in a week. The Android rollout is expected to expand its user base significantly.

The app keeps all iOS features, including “Cameos,” which lets users generate videos of themselves performing activities using their own likeness. Users can share content in a feed similar to TikTok, enabling discovery and interaction with other creators.
