France’s market regulator recently warned it may block the MiCA passporting system, which lets crypto firms operate EU-wide under one license.
Critics say such moves threaten the bloc’s competitiveness.
“The EU passport is the cornerstone of MiCA — jeopardizing it means stripping Europe’s crypto industry of its only real advantage,” said Faustine Fleuret.
