In a move to accelerate innovation, Malaysia’s Securities Commission (SC) has proposed a new framework allowing exchanges to list qualified digital assets without prior approval.
To qualify, assets must have passed a public security audit and been actively traded for at least one year on FATF-compliant platforms.
If approved, the framework could make Malaysia one of the most agile crypto markets in Asia, aligning with regional efforts to enhance liquidity and investor confidence.
