OpenAI is reportedly building a text-to-music generator, according to The Information.
The tool would let users create custom tracks or instrument accompaniments from written or audio prompts — possibly integrating with ChatGPT or Sora.
OpenAI is said to be collaborating with Juilliard students to train the model using annotated music scores.
If launched, it could challenge Google’s and Suno’s existing AI music models
