Ghana to Regulate Crypto by End of 2025

The Bank of Ghana says it will implement crypto regulations by the end of 2025, according to Governor Johnson Asiama.
A bill is already headed to Parliament, following draft guidelines released last year.
Once passed, Ghana will join a wave of African nations building legal frameworks for digital assets.
With nearly 3 million Ghanaians — about 9% of the population — using crypto, the move could boost investor confidence and attract new fintech growth.
