France Conducts AML Checks on Binance

France’s banking regulator, ACPR, is reportedly carrying out Anti-Money Laundering checks on Binance and dozens of other crypto exchanges.

The inspections, which began last year, focus on AML and Counter-Terrorist Financing compliance. Binance said engagement with ACPR is routine regulatory oversight, and exchanges are typically given months to address deficiencies.
