Silent Hill 2 Remake Hits 2.5M Sales

On Oct. 17, 2025, Konami revealed that Silent Hill 2 Remake has sold over 2.5 million units globally, contributing to the series’ total of 10 million copies sold.

The remake launched on Oct. 8, 2024, selling its first million in just one week. It also received multiple award nominations, including The Game Awards and the Golden Joystick Awards, winning Best Remake.
