SEAL Exposes North Korean Impersonators Targeting Crypto Jobs

A recent report by ethical hackers Security Alliance (SEAL) revealed 60 North Korean agents posing as IT workers seeking employment in U.S.-based crypto firms.

The repository includes aliases, fake emails, addresses, and companies they targeted.

Changpeng Zhao, Binance co-founder, warned that these operatives may infiltrate companies to steal funds or sensitive data.

While most are not hackers themselves, wages support state-sponsored cybercrime campaigns.

The crypto sector faces growing pressure to enhance employee vetting and internal security protocols.
