US-China Trade Talks Show Signs of Easing
-

Trade tensions between the US and China may be cooling. On Sunday, China’s Ministry of Commerce said it’s “ready to strengthen dialogue” on trade and rare earth export controls, even considering “license exemptions” to facilitate commerce.
US President Donald Trump also weighed in: “Don’t worry about China, it will all be fine! Highly respected President Xi just had a bad moment… The USA wants to help China, not hurt it!!!”
Analysts say the softened rhetoric could signal a de-escalation in months of global trade tensions, giving markets hope for a rebound.
