Thinking Machines Lab Co-founder Joins Meta

Andrew Tulloch, co-founder of AI startup Thinking Machines Lab, has left the company to join Meta. The Wall Street Journal reports Tulloch informed staff of his departure Friday.
The move follows reports that Mark Zuckerberg once tried to acquire the OpenAI spinout and later attempted to lure Tulloch with a compensation package worth up to $1.5B. A Meta spokesperson dismissed that claim as “inaccurate.” Tulloch previously worked at OpenAI and Facebook AI Research.
