Battlefield 6 Launches with PS5-Exclusive XP Boosts

Battlefield 6 officially launches today, Oct. 10, 2025, on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

An X post on Oct. 9 revealed that PS5 players get exclusive XP boost conditions:

+5% for owning the game on PS5

+5% for joining a party

+5% for being a PlayStation Plus subscriber in a party of 2+ subs

That’s up to a 15% bonus XP on Sony’s console, giving PS5 players a slight edge in progression. Microsoft has yet to announce similar perks for Xbox players.

The game follows a record-breaking open beta, making it the largest in franchise history.

Console-exclusive boosts are never a good look. Gameplay advantages should stay equal across platforms.
