Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Early Beta Sees Cheaters Banned Within Minutes
-

On Oct. 6, 2025, Activision reported that its new Ricochet Anti-Cheat successfully banned 97% of cheaters within 30 minutes during the Black Ops 7 early access beta.
The developers added that fewer than 1% of cheating attempts reached an actual match, and those players were removed shortly after. Major cheat vendors have reportedly declared their software unusable, signaling a crackdown on cheating businesses.
The PC beta runs until Oct. 8, with the full game releasing on Nov. 14, 2025, across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
