FIFA’s “Right-to-Buy” NFTs Selling Out Ahead of 2026 World Cup

FIFA’s “Right-to-Buy” tokens — blockchain-based passes reserving a window to purchase World Cup tickets — are selling fast ahead of the 2026 tournament in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Prices range from $299 to $999, depending on a team’s odds, with favorites like Argentina, Brazil, and England commanding top-tier prices. Each token activates only if the selected team reaches a specific round.
The NFTs can also be traded on FIFA Collect, the federation’s Web3 marketplace powered by Modex. FIFA said RTBs were introduced to address “extreme demand” for high-profile matches after receiving 23 million ticket requests for just 3.4 million seats in 2022.
