Market Awaits Possible U.S. Bitcoin Purchases

Speculation is mounting over when the U.S. government might begin buying Bitcoin.
Speaking with CNBC, Bitcoin advocate Anthony Pompliano said investors are watching closely for signs that Washington could move beyond its existing holdings.
“The main dish is when they start buying,” Pompliano said. “I think that will happen at some point.”
If confirmed, this would mark the first direct U.S. Bitcoin accumulation under the newly established Strategic Bitcoin Reserve program.
