Republic to Tokenize Animoca Equity on Solana

Republic, a global investment platform, has announced plans to tokenize equity in Animoca Brands, a company known for its leadership in the Web3 sector. The move is designed to expand investor access to Animoca Brands within a regulated framework, using blockchain to increase transparency and efficiency.

Animoca Brands manages a portfolio of more than 600 Web3 projects, but its equity is not listed on public exchanges. At present, shareholder access is mostly limited to over-the-counter transactions. By leveraging tokenization, Republic aims to simplify the process and create new channels for participation.

The tokenized equity will be minted on the Solana blockchain. Distribution will take place through Republic’s infrastructure, with tokens transferred to investor wallets.
