Better Tomorrow Ventures Raises $140M Third Fund

Sheel Mohnot, co-founder of Better Tomorrow Ventures (BTV), says fintech investing hasn’t lost its shine. “About 20% of global GDP is financial services, and it’s still not digital enough,” he told TechCrunch.
BTV just closed a $140M third fund, close to its $150M second fund raised at the end of the ZIRP boom. Mohnot said valuations are now saner and the firm needs less capital to keep backing its best startups. BTV, led by Mohnot and NerdWallet co-founder Jake Gibson, focuses on digitizing the massive manual processes that still dominate global finance.
Sheel Mohnot of Better Tomorrow Ventures argues fintech remains a massive opportunity: “20% of global GDP is financial services, and it’s still not digital enough.”
