Epic Games announced on September 28, 2025, that the “Peaceful Hips” emote, performed by John Cena’s Peacemaker character, has been removed from Fortnite.

In an official statement on X, the company said it is investigating its partner’s creative intentions for the collaboration. Refunds will be issued for players, and the emote is unlikely to return. The Peacemaker series went viral in 2022 for its intentionally silly dance intros, with millions of views across YouTube channels.
