UAE Surges to Second with Record Ownership

The United Arab Emirates narrowly missed first place with a score of 99.7 but took the global lead in crypto ownership at 25.3% of the population.
Adoption has soared 210% since 2019, peaking in 2022 when more than a third of residents reported holding crypto. ApeX says the Gulf state’s mix of pro-innovation policy and rapid uptake makes it a “key global hub” for digital assets.
