Cohere Raises $100M, Partners With AMD
-

AI startup Cohere raised another $100M, lifting its valuation to $7B. Unlike rivals tied to Nvidia, Cohere struck a deal with AMD, whose Instinct GPUs will now run Cohere’s Command AI models. AMD will also use Cohere internally.
Focused on enterprise AI sovereignty, Cohere wants to help firms keep control of their data. While still far behind OpenAI ($500B) and Anthropic ($183B) in valuation, the AMD partnership positions Cohere as a challenger in the enterprise AI space.
