SNK Corporation announced on September 19, 2025, that the SNK World Championship 2025 will take place at DreamHack Atlanta from October 31 to November 2, featuring a total prize pool exceeding $4 million across four games.

The lion’s share of the prize money goes to SNK’s latest release, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, with a $2.5 million pool. The first-place winner will take $1.5 million, while second place earns $300,000 — effectively making the grand final a $1.2 million money match, a distribution that has sparked conversation within the fighting game community.

SNK also confirmed that last-chance qualifiers will be held at DreamHack Atlanta, with two spots remaining for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, one for The King of Fighters XV, and four for Samurai Shodown.
