Cameron Gurr, a former Disney manager, has earned over $900,000 on Fiverr since 2020 after pivoting to freelance résumé writing during the pandemic.
Initially charging just $5 per résumé, Gurr now makes more than $100,000 a year with an average order value of $140.
He quit Disney in 2021 when called back from furlough, choosing freelancing full time. “It was one of the most difficult choices of my life,” he said. “But now I have the freedom to work anywhere and help clients worldwide.”

Quitting Disney wasn’t easy, but choosing freedom and building a global business is inspiring.
