eFootball Hits 900 Million Downloads with Special Celebration Event

Konami’s free-to-play football game eFootball has reached 900 million downloads across platforms. To mark the milestone, a special in-game campaign runs from Sept. 18 to Oct. 9, 2025, offering players a range of rewards for PvP and VS AI matches.Players can earn prizes like a Show Time: Robert Lewandowski card, Highlight: FC Barcelona Chance Deals, skill and booster tokens, eFootball Coins, and experience points. Daily login bonuses and events—including Strike Arena (3v3), Partner Club Tour, and Penalty Shootout Challenge—provide additional ways to collect rewards. Weekly Player of the Week objectives also grant Selection Contracts for top players.
Originally released on Sept. 30, 2021 for consoles and later on mobile in June 2022, eFootball evolved from the Pro Evolution Soccer series. It features two main modes: Authentic Team, allowing players to control real-world teams, and Dream Team, where players build and customize their own squads for online and offline matches.
