Epic Games announced a surprise new mode for Fortnite — Delulu, a limited-time battle royale experience where proximity voice chat is enabled, letting players form alliances (or betray them) in real time.

The addition of proximity chat has been long-rumored since August, but instead of just flipping the switch, Epic turned it into a full mode.

Meanwhile, Fortnite continues to expand its crossover content — Stark Island has arrived in Blitz mode, bringing Iron Man-themed POIs, weapons, and even flight as Iron Man himself. Plus, Peacemaker is now live in the Item Shop.
