On Sept. 16, 2025, Activision dropped a fresh cinematic trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies on its official YouTube channel.

Story setup
After the climactic battle at Project Janus HQ, the Requiem team — Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mac Carver and Maya Aguinaldo — are pulled into the Dark Aether dimension. There, they face alternate versions of the classic crew — Richtofen, Dempsey, Nikolai and Takeo. Both squads are soon forced into an uneasy alliance when a mysterious figure drains their life essence and unleashes endless zombie waves.
