Ferrari’s First Electric Car Sparks Debate as Solana Jokes Go Viral
-

Ferrari officially revealed the Luce, its first-ever fully electric production vehicle, during an event in Rome on May 25. Developed alongside Jony Ive’s LoveFrom design collective, the EV includes four electric motors producing over 1,000 horsepower and is expected to begin deliveries in late 2026.While Ferrari described the Luce as the result of five years of engineering and innovation, investors appeared less convinced in the short term. Ferrari stock dropped more than 6% after the unveiling as analysts questioned the company’s shift toward younger audiences and whether traditional Ferrari buyers would embrace a fully electric model.
Adding to the online reaction, Solana’s official X account posted a redesigned version of the Luce covered in Solana branding colors with the caption “Fixed it.” The post quickly gained attention across social media, highlighting how crypto brands increasingly use humor and pop culture moments to expand visibility beyond the blockchain industry itself.
